My Story

Emma, Maria , Aoife, Lauren & Alison are fundraising for Heart Children Ireland to support children who are born with congenital heart disease (CHD). One in 100 babies born will have CHD. On average there are 500 babies born in Ireland each year with CHD. 
Aoife's daughter was born in 2010 with complex CHD & HCI have been a big support to her family. 

We are taking on the very wet, mucky & challenging Hell & Back in Wicklow next Saturday 
Sept 29th ! 
We'd appreciate any donations no matter how small , they all add up !!! 

Heart Children is the national charity that supports these children and their families. Funds raised will be going to the Heart Children Ireland Play Therapy Fund. 

Play therapy provides invaluable support to children born with congenital heart disease. It offers a safe and nurturing environment for emotional expression, skill-building, improved communication, and empowerment.

By incorporating play therapy into the holistic care of children with congenital heart disease, we can help promote their emotional well-being, resilience, and overall quality of life. Heart Children provides Play Therapy to children with CHD and to their siblings as lifelong conditions like CHD affect all the family.

Heart Children's mission is to support people with congenital heart disease to live confidently, stay well, and enjoy life to its fullest.
